Beru is a progressive reggio inspired early years school in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. At Beru, we strive to nurture a curious, capable and resilient child filled with wonder and knowledge. While our learning outcomes are based on Beru Early Years Framework (BEYF), our teaching approach is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy which encourages children to learn through play, inquiry and their own exploration.
Developed in collaboration with a leading early childhood curriculum professor, our holistic programme prepares the children to meet the challenges of an increasingly connected world by helping them develop not only academic competencies but also social skills.

We have seen different versions of Vahin in the past one month and its mostly a pleasant surprise ??. We are enjoying with him. A few things that stand out for us are how you guys let him be, be it his "I want to come with a twig/ flower” or just his need to want to experiment with play. He started to come help us when we tidy up and as a typical household watching tiny thing come and help was a delight. So Yeah, Thank you …. You guys are amazing.
Rishaan’s stranger anxiety has reduced to a great extent. Now a days he wants to eat on his own and speaks in monosyllables like “Spoo” (for spoon), “Poo” (for Poori) etc. I ‘am happy with the conduct & values, he is gaining at the subtle and extremely kid friendly, non-condescending environment provided at BERU. A special, special thanks to everyone at BERU for their extra patience & perseverance to deal with kids.

Beru Early Years was founded in 2023 by Sahithi Sagar, an advocate of Reggio Emilia. Sahithi is driven by her steadfast passion for education and children. She has honed her skillset of the renowned Reggio Emilia approach through research, including the successful completion of the School management and leadership with Harvard Business School, and attending several international conferences hosted by experts from the field. A constant learner herself, she also conducts in-house training for educators regularly.
